TrackIt

TrackIt Limited is an Auckland software and telematics company providing fleet, asset and mobile-workforce management. Incorporated in July 2009, it serves transport, construction, agriculture, forestry, hire, trade-services and public-sector users. The platform brings vehicle tracking, jobs, forms, maintenance, driver safety, workshop records and tool or asset control into one system. RUC is a first-class workflow in the product rather than a generic reminder. Fleet administrators can view licences in one place, set automated purchasing controls, receive reminders and calculate off-road use from GPS data and geofences. TrackIt promotes automatic off-road refund claims for vehicles working on farms, forestry roads, demolition sites, yards and other eligible private land. Its construction material claims an average fleet recovery figure, but that is a supplier marketing claim and will vary materially by fleet and eligibility. TrackIt is not on NZTA's list of approved electronic distance recorders or electronically assisted RUC display providers. Its role is fleet administration and refund evidence built around conventional tracking data. That makes it directly useful to existing RUC-paying fleets while placing it in a different category from eRUC licence-display systems. The company has a concentrated private ownership structure. Spider Holdings Limited holds 69% of the registered shares; three individuals hold the balance. Todd Somervell has been the sole registered director since incorporation.

TrackIt directly supports existing New Zealand RUC-payer workflows through purchasing administration, reminders and off-road refund calculations. It is a fleet platform rather than an NZTA-approved electronic distance recorder or digital licence-display provider.
