ELogbook

ELogbook is an NZTA-approved electronic driver logbook developed and operated by Picobyte Solutions Limited. It replaces paper logbooks for heavy-vehicle drivers and Small Passenger Service Licence holders, including ride-share drivers. Drivers record work and rest hours through a phone or tablet, with automatic totals, GPS-supported records and proactive breach notifications. Fleet managers and health and safety officers use a web portal to monitor hours, fatigue risk and compliance across a fleet. The service provides authenticated access, cloud storage and driver privacy controls. NZTA's current register lists Picobyte Solutions and ELogbook among eight approved electronic logbooks. Picobyte also develops RUC Monkey and myRUC, and its 2025 Webfleet partnership connected its eRUC and ELogbook capability with a wider fleet-management platform.

ELogbook is a work-time and fatigue-compliance product rather than a RUC licence or distance-recording product. Its RUC relevance comes through Picobyte's wider portfolio, which also includes RUC Monkey and myRUC, and through fleet integrations such as the 2025 Webfleet partnership that can bring electronic logbook and eRUC functions into the same operating environment.
