FleetPin is a New Zealand-owned GPS tracking and fleet management provider founded in Christchurch in 2013 by brothers Justin and Todd McCormack. FleetPin says the idea arose after Todd identified demand among smaller businesses for a less complex GPS service, while Justin developed the software. Its current website lists 13 team members and describes its customer base as numbering in the hundreds. FleetPin provides real-time vehicle tracking, lower-frequency asset tracking and Safetrax rollover monitoring, together with add-ons covering areas such as vehicle compliance, off-road RUC refund applications, temperature monitoring, maintenance records, driver identification and operational alerts. Its real-time subscription includes off-road RUC reporting. RUCOR Advanced is a separate add-on that prepares RUCOR forms from FleetPin data and sends digitally signed applications to NZTA. FleetPin was one of ten businesses selected for ChristchurchNZ’s 2018 Hi-Growth Launch Programme. The company publishes support and product information from New Zealand and continues to describe itself as wholly New Zealand owned and operated.

FleetPin reported further development of Safetrax, its GPS-based rollover warning and alert system; the system was also publicly documented in use by Mainland Spreading during 2022.
FleetPin introduced NZTA Sync, an add-on that imports WoF, CoF, registration and RUC information into its platform.

FleetPin provides GPS-derived records that customers can use when seeking NZTA refunds for eligible off-road travel. Off-road RUC reporting is included in its real-time tracking subscription. RUCOR Advanced is a separate add-on that uses FleetPin off-road data and customer information to populate RUCOR forms, supports review and digital signature, and sends the application to NZTA. NZTA determines eligibility and requires claimants to retain supporting records for two years.
FleetPin offers RUCOR Advanced as an add-on to its existing off-road reporting function. It populates NZTA RUCOR forms from FleetPin data, supports digital signature and sends completed applications to NZTA. A reliable public launch date was not identified.
FleetPin published NZTA Sync on 27 August 2025. The add-on imports WoF, CoF, registration and RUC information into FleetPin for compliance monitoring. This is distinct from the earlier RUC Scanner beta feature.
